Did you know that it’s 2006?? I’m sure you did… silly me… lol…. so yeah, Happy New Year! and Merry Christmas, by the way… it’s been a great year. since all of my friends are doing them too, here is my year in review:
January: spent most of it at home in CA, then went back to school for the rest of my junior year at CSP
February: spent another valentine’s day alone…won’t be the last
March: ran my face into a car door, subsequently going to the hospital for 3 butterfly stitches… the next day found out where I would be placed on internship: Peoria, Illinois…. not too happy at the moment, but later sought the Lord’s council and knew that it was for the best, and that He had amazing things in store for me.
April: dealt with getting emotionally ready for leaving CSP and beginning internship.
May: school’s out!! lived with kim for 2 weeks so i could stay in the twin cities during my 21st birthday… didn’t get too drunk, but took some amusing pictures…. hehehe…
June: worked at the Christ-Brea day care again and had oodles of fun… didn’t go on a family vacation this summer since it was so short… but spend some much needed time with the fam
July: Moved into my apartment inPeoria
August: Began internship!! …
September: learned about what it means to be alone… i hate living alone
October: went to Missouri to visit my aunt and uncle (desperately needed family)
November: spent thanksgiving with an amazing family here in Peoria and then went to visit Kim in St Louis…saw Pride and Prejudice 3 times
December: visit from steph, the rents and matt! it was a blast… learned what homesickness and friendsickness really is
ok, so that’s basically it… it’s been a pretty uneventful year in my life. no big events. no major relationships… well, one that didn’t turn out, but that was really in 2004… but anyway…
Here’s to 2006! (I’m toasting a glass of apple vodka and cranberry juice to myself)… sad really…
alright… hope your first few days of 2006 are wonderful! Pray for me I’m going on a mission trip to Ocean Springs Mississippi for a week, and I leave on thursday. It should be a blast!!
